Although Tom made the decision to leave the Pats, there is no doubt that his run with them was legendary and made a huge, everlasting impact with the team.
Brady did not play as starting quarterback until week 2 of the 2001 season, when then quarterback, Drew Bledsoe, took a hit and got hurt. Since then, Brady has remained starting quarterback for the Patriots, until now, and his reign has been incredible and record-setting.
Tom Brady has taken the Patriots to 9 Super Bowls, winning 6 of them, meaning Brady has the most Super Bowl wins out of any player in the league as well as most Super Bowl starts in history.

Tom has the most regular season wins for a quarterback coming in at 219 wins, each of those wins going towards the Patriots record.
In the playoffs, Brady has the most wins at 30 games. Additionally, after the 2019 season, Brady has led the Patriots to their 11th straight AFC East title, making this the longest streak in history. In total, Brady has 17 AFC East titles.

With much of these records going to Brady himself, the Patriots name is also attached to them. Additionally his success reflects greatly on any Patriots’ statistics and records.
Not only did Brady secure records and wins for the Patriots but he was always able to remain a strong leader and motivator for his team.
Brady has commented on his motivational responsibilities stating, “A quarterback’s responsibility is to try to lead and motivate. We’re often the voice of a lot of situations, because first we’re calling the plays in the huddle. And we have a lot of information from the coaches and coordinators on what we’re trying to do. We’re trying to motivate people and get people to play their best.”
Brady clearly excels at this because former teammate Dwayne Allen has commented on this matter saying that it is inspiring to play with Tom.
From every aspect, Tom Brady has impacted the New England Patriots in a positive way. It is no question that he will be missed by fans, teammates, and coaches.
Good luck in Tampa Bay, Tom!
